FAQS

Does my pet need to be vaccinated before staying with you?
Yes! Dogs require a minimum C5 Vaccination (protection against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza and the bacterial component that causes canine cough known as Bordetella. This vaccination provides the greatest protection against canine cough and therefore is the preferred vaccination for dogs entering boarding) .
And cats require a minimum F4 vaccination (Protection against Feline Enteritis, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Rhinotraceitis and chlamydia).  If your pet has never been vaccinated or is considerably late with re-vaccinating they need to have had their vaccinations done at least 2 weeks prior to their stay.
We do not, under any circumstance, accept unvaccinated pets.

What do I need to bring for my dog?
We need to sight your current C5 vaccination certificate so bring this with you along with any medications your dog is on. We do also prefer that they are wearing a suitable collar (not choker chain).

Can I bring my pets bedding and/or toys?
Yes, you certainly can. We do supply all beds and toys but if your pet prefers their own bed, blankets or toys you are more then welcome to bring them along, just clearly label them with your pets name so we can avoid any mix ups and please be aware that we accept no liability for any items that are lost or destroyed.

Do you supply food? Can I bring my own?
Our fees include food, which is a combination of dry dog food. Cats are fed with Whiskas biscuits for breakfast and a selection of tin food for dinner. If you’re pet is on a veterinary prescribed diet for example: Eukanuba, we do prefer that you bring this along so to avoid any upset tummies.
Of course, if you prefer to bring their own food, snacks or a supplement to our biscuits you are more then welcome, just clearly label the items with their name.

Do you offer a pickup and delivery service?
Yes we do servicing the Dalby area only. The cost is a low $7 each way. Just let us know when booking in that this is what you would require.

We have a vet from Total Care Vets on call for any emergency and all attempts will be made to contact your emergency contact. For any pre-existing conditions or where ever possible we will endeavour to use a vet (within Dalby) of your choice.

Will my pet miss me?
Once you leave most animals are distracted by all the activity in the kennels, the have a variety of new smells, sights and sounds to stimulate them. They generally have a great time while here, but of course they love to see you return.
